Our East Tennessee Home

In recent years I have lived in eastern Tennessee. It is another wonderfully beautiful place and I very much think of it as a great blessing from god to have lived several years here.

An autumn afternoon in East Tennessee.

On the way to the house on the mountain.

Autumn in my back yard.

Early morning on our Tennessee mountain.

The long shadows of an early autumn day.

Our hill, looking up to one of the mountain peaks.

This is why they call them the smokey mountains!

Winter on our mountain.

Just over into the North Carolina mountains.

The Creek on a winter's day afternoon.

The Smokey Mountains in Winter.

Autumn afternoon by the creek.

The "other side of the mountain" from our home.

Next to the French Broad River in North Carolina mountains.

The dead of winter on our mountain road.

A pond in winter, up the road from our home .

Wintery scene looking toward are mountain.

Autumn by Paint Rock in North Carolina mountains.

They apear to be "Holy cows"!

The creek on a frosty afternoon.

Up the road on a winter's day. The tree is one I named Scarlet,
because in autumn she wears a scarlet gown of leaves.

The enchanted forest in autumn.

Mid way up the mountian, the creek in winter.

Autumn by our creek.

January evening on our mountain.

Spring dogwood bloooms.

Spring. Pink dogwood blooms.

Is it not easy to see the beauty of the "everyday"!
God blesses the just and the unjust the same. Praise Him.
